CAMEO is a professional, non-profit organization made up of CEO’s and owners of local community association management companies whose goal is to promote integrity and education within the community management profession.
CAMEO members have specific educational requirements that each members’ community association managers, or CAM’s, must meet each calendar year that go above and beyond what the state requires.
CAMEO has prepared a slate of educational courses for its members that are taught by individuals who are experts in their field. . More highly educated managers mean better problem solvers and education gives our CAM’s the skills they need to help the communities they manage operate more smoothly.
CAMEO members are working on standardizing forms for the community association industry that will make for a smoother and friendlier transition if a community decides to change association management companies.
CAMEO meets regularly for round table discussions about community management issues, proposing or supporting any necessary legislation that will enhance the industry, creating and setting mini-mum management company and community manager standards in Nevada, and to discuss the educational needs of its community association managers.
CAMEO is also working with the Nevada Real Estate Division to help improve ethical standards and support educational opportunities.
